9th Dividend
SCB has announced a 9th dividend of GH¢0.0822 per preference share in respect of the dividend period September 30, 2009 to March 29, 2010.
Qualifying date
All preference shareholders registered in the books of SCB at the close of business on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 will qualify for the 9th dividend of GH¢0.0822 per preference share.
Closure of Register
The Register of preference shareholders will be closed from Thursday, March 25, 2010 to Friday, March 26, 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
The ex-dividend date has been set as Monday, March 22, 2010. Consequently, an investor purchasing SCB preference shares before this date will be entitled to the 9th dividend. However, an investor buying SCB preference shares on or after Monday, March 22, 2010 will not be entitled to the 9th dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The 9th dividend of GH¢0.0822 per preference share will be paid on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.
