ETI announces the appointment of Mr. Thierry Tanoh as the Chief Executive Officer Designate by the Board of Directors of the company. Mr. Tanoh has accordingly assumed office effective July 16, 2012.
Mr. Thierry Tanoh has spent the last eighteen (18) years with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and rising to the position of Vice President for Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Mr. Tanoh will work with Mr. Arnold Ekpe up to the end of the year 2012 to ensure a successful transition, and will formally take over from Mr. Ekpe as Group Chief Executive effective January 1, 2013.
