Final Dividend
EGL has announced that the Directors would be recommending to shareholders a final dividend of GH¢0.006 per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2010.
Qualifying Date
All shareholders registered in the books of EGL at the close of business on Monday, May 30, 2011 will qualify for the final dividend of GH¢0.0.006 per share if approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Tuesday, May 31, 2011 to Thursday, June 2, 2011 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Friday, May 27, 2011. Consequently, an investor purchasing EGL shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying EGL shares on or after Friday, May 27, 2011 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend payment date
The final dividend of GH¢0.006 per share will be paid on Thursday, June 30, 2011.
