PBC announces that at the 11th Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, a special resolution was passed to change the Company’s name from Produce Buying Company Limited to PBC LIMITED due to the descriptive nature of the former name of the Company which portrayed only one aspect of its authorized business being “produce buying”.
To enable the company venture into ancillary fields of operation to compliment the core function of cocoa purchasing as well as the necessity to have a name which highlights the PBC brand, shareholders of the company effected the name change as indicated.
The change of name has subsequently been published in the gazette being the Commercial and Industrial Bulletin dated Friday, September 28, 2012.
Further to the above the company advises accordingly that all correspondence(s) to the company bear the new name.
All former documents being the company’s former name of Produce Buying Company Limited are still valid.
