On July 9, 2012, the Ghana Stock Exchange, per its press release no. 194/2012, suspended the listing status of Clydestone Ghana Ltd (Clydestone) and Transactions Solutions Ghana Ltd (Transol) until the two companies held their respective annual general meetings which were in arrears.
Clydestone held its general meeting on Friday, August 3, 2012 while Transol held its latest general meeting on Friday, August 17, 2012, both in Accra.
Accordingly, the Exchange has lifted the suspension of listing imposed on the two companies with immediate effect.
The suspension of the listing status of Pioneer Kitchenware Limited (PKL) for a similar violation of the continuous listing obligation, per the Exchange’s press release no. 070/2012, however, continues to hold.
