Final Dividend
PZ has announced that the Company’s Directors will be recommending to the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, the payment of a final dividend of GH¢0.0226 per share in respect of the financial year ended May 31, 2011.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of PZ at the close of business on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 will qualify for the final dividend if approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Thursday, September 29, 2011 to Friday, September 30, 2011 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Monday, September 26, 2011. Consequently, an investor purchasing PZ shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying PZ shares on or after Monday, September 26, 2011 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend will be paid from Thursday, October 20, 2011.
