EGL announces that the Company’s Directors will be recommending to the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, the payment of a final dividend of GH¢0.045 per share for the 2018 financial year.
Qualifying date
Members registered in the books of EGL at the close of business on Friday, June 21, 2019 will qualify for the payment of the final dividend.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Monday, June 24, 2019 to Tuesday, June 25, 2019 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
The ex-dividend date has been set as Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Consequently, an investor purchasing EGL shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying EGL shares on or after Wednesday, June 19, 2019 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend will be paid on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
Annual General Meeting
EGL announces that the Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. The venue is the new Head Office, Advantage House, Ridge, Accra at 10:30 am.
