Final Dividend
EGL announces that the Company’s Directors will be recommending to the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, the payment of a final dividend of GH¢0.0744 per share for the 2021 financial year.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of EGL at the close of business on Friday June 24, 2022, will qualify for the final dividend.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Monday June 27, 2022, to Tuesday June 28, 2022. (Both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Consequently, an investor purchasing EGL shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying EGL shares on or after Wednesday, June 22, 2022, will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend will be paid from Monday August 8, 2022.
Annual General Meeting
The Company’s Virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Head Office in Ridge Accra, Advantage Place on Tuesday June 28, 2022, at 10:30a.m.
