Final Dividend
EBG has announced that the Company’s Directors will be recommending to the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, the payment of a final dividend of GH¢0.24 per share in respect of the 2011 financial year.
Qualifying Date
All shareholders registered in the books of EBG at the close of business on Thursday, 19th April, 2012 will qualify for the final dividend.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Friday, 20th April, 2012 to Thursday, 26th April, 2012 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Tuesday, 17th April, 2012. Consequently, an investor purchasing EBG shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying EBG shares on or after Tuesday, 17th April, 2012 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend payment date
The final dividend will be paid on Friday, 18th May, 2012.
Annual General Meeting
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the National Theatre, Accra on Friday, 27th April, 2012 at 10.30 am.
