Final Dividend
EBG announces that the Company’s Directors will be recommending to the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting, the payment of a final dividend of GH¢0.43 per share in respect of the 2013 financial year.
Qualifying Date
All shareholders registered in the books of EBG at the close of business on Monday, 21st April, 2014 will qualify for the final dividend.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Tuesday, 22nd April, 2014 to Tuesday, 29th April, 2014 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Friday, 18th April, 2014. Consequently, an investor purchasing EBG shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying EBG shares on or after Friday, 18th April, 2014 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend payment date
The final dividend will be paid on Wednesday, 14th May, 2014.
Annual General Meeting
EBG’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the College of Physicians & Surgeons on Wednesday, 30th April, 2014 at 10.30 am.
