Final Dividend
UTB announces that the Directors of the bank have decided to propose to the shareholders a final dividend of GH¢0.02 per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2012. This is subject to shareholders approval at the bank’s Annual General Meeting.
Qualifying Date
All shareholders registered in the books of UTB at the close of business on Friday, April 12, 2013 will qualify for the final dividend.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Monday, April 15, 2013 to Wednesday, April 17, 2013 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Consequently, an investor purchasing UTB shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying UTB shares on or after Wednesday, April 10, 2013 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend will be paid on Friday, May 31, 2013.
Annual General Meeting
The bank’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the National Theatre on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10am.
