EBG has announced the appointment of Mr. Thomas Chukwuemeka Awagu and Mr. George Mensah-Asante as Directors of the bank with effect from 27th October, 2011 and 15th December, 2011 respectively.
Mr. Awagu is a Nigerian. He is the Founding and Managing Partner of Pyramids Plc (architecture, engineering, procurement) since 1980 with responsibility for policy formulation, design and project management office administration and personnel management.
Mr. Mensah-Asante is the Head of Domestic Bank, Ecobank Ghana and WAMZ Cluster. He has over eighteen (18) years of proven expertise in various aspect of banking such as marketing, sales relationship management, customer service, branch management and business development.
