Final Dividend
GOIL has announced a final dividend of GH¢0.0104 per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2009.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of GOIL at the close of business on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 will qualify for the final dividend of GH¢0.0104 per share which would be approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Thursday, June 24, 2010 to Friday, July 2, 2010 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Monday, June 21, 2010. Consequently, an investor purchasing GOIL shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying GOIL shares on or after Monday, June 21, 2010 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend of GH¢0.0104 per share will be paid from Friday, July 23, 2010.
AGM Notice
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons’ Auditorium, on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 11.00 am.
