Results
GCB has released its audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2010, as per the attached.
Final Dividend
GCB has also announced a Final Dividend of GH¢0.07 (Seven Ghana Pesewas) per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2010.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of GCB at the close of business on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 will qualify for the final dividend if approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed from Wednesday, April 13, 2011 to Wednesday, April 20, 2011 (both dates inclusive).
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Friday, April 8, 2011. Consequently, an investor purchasing GCB shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying GCB shares on or after Friday, April 8, 2011 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend will be paid on Friday, May 27, 2011.
