Final Dividend
TBL has announced a Final Dividend of 75 butus (approximately 2.7 US Cents) per share in respect of its financial year ended December 31, 2008.
Qualifying date
All shareholders registered in the books of TBL at the close of business on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 will qualify for the final dividend of 75 butus per share which would be approved at the Annual General Meeting.
Closure of Register
The Register of shareholders will be closed on Thursday, April 9, 2009.
Ex-Dividend Date
In view of the foregoing, the ex-dividend date has been set as Monday, April 6, 2009. Consequently, an investor purchasing TBL shares before this date will be entitled to the final dividend. However, an investor buying TBL shares on or after Monday, April 6, 2009 will not be entitled to the final dividend.
Dividend Payment Date
The final dividend of 75 butus per share will be paid on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.
Annual General Meeting
The Company’s Annual General Meeting will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Kairaba Beach Hotel, Banjul, The Gambia at 3.00 pm.
