PR. No 024/2014 HFC BANK (GHANA) LIMITED (HFC)- APPOINTMENT OF A NEW COMPANY SECRETARY

HFC announces that following the retirement of Mrs. Mercy M. Tetteh at the end of 2013, the bank has appointed Mrs. Beatrix Ama Amoah as the new Company Secretary. Her appointment took effect from 2nd January, 2014.

Mrs. Beatrix Ama Amoah was appointed as the Company Secretary of HFC Bank in January 2014 and is also responsible for Legal and Corporate Affairs of the Bank. 
 
Mrs. Amoah joined HFC Bank in November 2006. She has over the years served the Bank in various capacities including heading the Legal and Mortgage Departments. 
 
She has represented the Bank on a number of occasions, and was instrumental in the Ghana Housing Finance Association’s efforts at standardizing credit documents in the finance industry pursuant to Home Mortgage Finance Act 2008 (Act 770) and Borrowers & Lenders Act 2008 (Act 773) under the auspices of the IFC/Bank of Ghana
 
Prior to joining the Bank, she worked with the London Borough of Hackney, UK, where she provided legal advice and representation to the Local Authority on a range of real estate and regeneration programmes.
 
Mrs. Amoah obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Ghana. She completed the Professional Law (BL) at the Ghana School of Law and was called to the Ghana Bar in 1983. She later obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the Aston Business School, UK
