AGA has listed an additional 57,718 ordinary shares on the Exchange bringing the total number of listed shares to 362,240,669 as at December 31, 2009. This was as a result of the issuing and listing of additional ordinary shares in December 2009 on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange, South Africa.

The shares were issued under the AngloGold Ashanti Share Incentive Scheme.
